ABOUT US

Battle Lake Inn is a small, independent and locally owned Motel with an attached RV Park and Lodge.

We are conveniently located off Highway 78 just blocks away from the public beach, lake access, shops, restaurants and the Glendalough bike trail.

We are a small family business, not a large hotel chain so we have one person managing all reservations and a small team of housekeeping staff. We are not able to offer onsite or on-demand services but we are just a quick text or call if any issues arise during your stay.

OUR HISTORY

Battle Lake Inn is located at the site of the old Battle Lake Motel, "The Lake Region's Spare Bedroom". The motel was completely rebuilt and re-opened in July 2015 as the Battle Lake Inn and Suites. The addition of the RV Lodge in 2017 provided a much needed amenity for both RV Park tenants and motel guests to provide a fish cleaning facility, coin laundry and extra space to gather. Under new ownership in January 2022, the motel was rebranded to 'Battle Lake Inn'.

Whether you're in Battle Lake to visit family or friends, heading out a fishing trip, exploring Glendalough State Park or enjoying the beautiful lakes area, Battle Lake Inn is centrally located for your Otter Tail County adventures and continues to be the best place for you to stay!
